Die Begeisterung für Live-Konzerte und der Blick hinter die Kulissen fasziniert David Scholz seit seiner Jugend. Nach dem Abitur verließ er seine Heimatstadt Dresden, um 2017 in Berlin eine Ausbildung zur Fachkraft für Veranstaltungstechnik zu absolvieren.
Mit dem Ende der Ausbildung hat sich sein Arbeitsschwerpunkt auf Theaterproduktionen gelegt. Parallel entdeckte er das Tournee-Theater für sich und arbeitet seitdem als Lichtdesigner und technischer Leiter europaweit und international.

Seit 2023 arbeitet er u.a. mit Rimini Protokoll und betreut als technischer Leiter das internationale Tanzfestival Kuyum Tanzplattform in Berlin.

 

David Scholz has been fascinated by live concerts and behind-the-scenes work since his youth. After graduating from high school, he left his hometown of Dresden to train as an event technician in Berlin in 2017.
Upon completing his training, he shifted his focus to theatre productions. At the same time, he discovered touring theatre and has since worked as a lighting designer and technical director throughout Europe and internationally.
Since 2023, he has been working with Rimini Protokoll, among others, and is the technical director of the international dance festival Kuyum Tanzplattform in Berlin.
